Happy mail!

So a couple of weeks ago I got an unexpected box in the mail...and I was so excited to find that it was the Cocoa Daisy kit designed by Stacy. I finally got to play with it last night when the girls came over.

I haven't done a lot of designing with kits and I have to say it was really FUN! It isn't that I haven't gotten kits before...I have (and do) but I usually mix them up with other things etc. This time I worked just with what came in the kit...and it was way cool!!

Here is what I came up with (and I still have plenty of supplies to do more).

Todd has been writing lots of stories at school (and now at home) so I wanted to make a little book to write what he is grateful for this year.

Next I tackled a few of my very favorite photos of all time....There is no black background...that is just for posting here!

I love these layouts. Cocoa Daisy puts together fabulous kits. I love the way you put the number die cut on top of the patterned paper. I would never think to do that, but will now! thanks for sharing!!
