Realizations...

We almost made it last night...I fell asleep on the couch at like 11:30. I am officially old. It is pretty ridiculous considering I'm up after midnight on plenty of nights where I probably shouldn't be. Oh well. Todd had fun...he requested "Dad's famous" grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and we made ice cream sundaes and watched Beethoven's Big Break and wore our hats almost the whole time! It was wild and crazy around here...but I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else!

Today was more painting (expect a full report soon) and a wonderful get together at Moriah and Geoff's with good food and good friends. I can't think of a better way to start the new year than that (the food and friends, not the painting)!

Speaking of the new year, I've been thinking about the whole one little word thing, I didn't play along last year, but I'm thinking that this year might need a word.

After some pondering, I think my word is going to be REALIZE...and I think I might need one of these too. I love that realizations can be tangible and not so tangible. I'm looking forward to both this year.
