we have a winner...

I know that you have all been holding your breath. There is green paint on the wall (all one color of green, not the green squares) and I really love it. I can't wait to see it tomorrow in the sunlight! It wasn't finished before dark so no photo yet.

I realized that the color I ended up with isn't actually represented in yesterday's photo. It is on the color card one shade lighter than the biggest square on the upper left and one shade darker than the one that is second from the top in the middle.

I'm telling myself that green is just difficult and it isn't that I've become indecisive in my old age. I'm usually a pick it and go girl and this has been an unusual place for me to find myself so completely confused...especially by color...hello?

So anyway, I'm blaming it on the green.

I actually accused green of mocking me when I saw a whole new green display of household stuff in Target today. I was pointing out what bright and lovely colors of green they were and my Mom says "on a pillow!! or a vase!!! not on a giant 12 foot high wall!!"

Anyway, thank the merciful heavens it is done (but the painting around here isn't quite done yet...have I mentioned how much I love my husband?)

Here is the very funniest thing though....the color I ended up with is called NEON! I don't know why but after everything with this whole color debacle, that cracked me up.

Tomorrow I am going to talk about something other than paint (but I will try to share a photo)...thanks for all of the support and votes (and the offer of finger painting LOL!!)

It is true however that green is one of the most difficult colors becuase it goes "blue" or "yellow" so quickly and usually people like the combo greens the best... :) I can't wait to see it. :) I bet it's fabulous!
